in this post, i am going to talk about a pirate nes game, based on a snes/md/pc game, and it happens to be toy story

this is going to be more of a comparison between snes and nes

first off, the splash screen (before title)






























the nes makes things bland by getting rid of the background, and making ham walk in and wave his dick at you

and now the first level





























they both start at a different place, which is interesting, im too lazy to use any more screenshots

as for the gameplay, the nes makes it much slower and dull, also when you get hit, woody flys back 1000 miles, not really fun, and the flashing invincible stage after you get hit barely lasts, so you can die in seconds

in other words, the nes version is crap, get the snes version or something

super contra 7 (aka super contra 8)

contra was a great arcade game from 1987, it then got ported to the nes, then got a sequel called super contra, it sure was a great game

and then a pirating comp
any hacked contra 1 and made super contra 2, just contra 1 with a freaky level design, then pirates began making more home brew contra pirates, and created a band wagon with games like super contra X (but that's another story)

one of the last nes contra pirates was super contra 7, made by a pirating company called E.S.C in 1996. who's E.S.C, we'll find out


the game play's like contra 3 because of the fact you start with a machine gun, you fight a horde of generic green walking enemy's, random grenade enemy's ootototels, "sa" posters, and random 2 room sale buildings


















for a boss you get this disturbing purple what ever the hell it is, im not really sure what it looks like











I have not made it to level 2 if your wondering, anyways, its time to use the tile layer pro


it appears that waixing made super contra 7, makes sense because waixing has an ES logo, and that ES logo is hidden in the rom as shown in the picture above











in conclusion, super contra 7 is a great pirate, and your probably saying "what about 8?", its the same game as super contra 7, only the title is English and is made in 1999, so apparently waixing took 3 years just to make the title english
